Biography
Prof. Dr. Hasan Kıran is a Turkish painter and academician born in Malatya in 1966. He graduated from the Department of Painting and Sculpture at İnönü University Faculty of Education in 1993 and completed his master's degree in art at Hacettepe University in 1998. In 2003, he studied Japanese woodblock printing at the Printmaking Department of Tokyo State University of the Arts; and in 2008, he received his doctorate in art with his work titled "Visual Propositions on Shamanistic Images".
