Biography
Eren Eyüboğlu was born in 1907 in Iași, Romania. After high school, he studied painting at the Iași Academy of Fine Arts. In 1929, he went to Paris and worked in the Andre Lhote Studio. In 1980, he worked on printmaking in Süleyman Saim Tekcan's studio in Söğütlüçeşme. Eren Eyüboğlu, whose real name was Ernestin Letoni, became known as a Turkish painter. In addition to paintings and drawings, he also created ceramic wall panels for various official and private institutions. He passed away in Istanbul in 1988.
