Biography
Gamze DUMAN is a Turkish painter born in Trabzon in 1984. After studying at Trabzon Anatolian Fine Arts High School, she graduated from the Painting and Art Education Department of Karadeniz Technical University in 2006. She held her first solo exhibition in 2004 at the Trabzon Ortahisar State Fine Arts Gallery. In 2007, she moved to Istanbul to focus on her art. Her works have been featured in various group exhibitions, including at Istanbul Modern in 2011 and the International Istanbul Biennial in 2019. In 2022, she participated in the "Artists Whose Paths Crossed Trabzon" exhibition at the Beşiktaş Contemporary Art Gallery. She continues her work in her studio in Istanbul.
