Biography
Prof. Halil Yoleri, born in Kırklareli in 1963, is a ceramics and glass artist and academic. He graduated from the Ceramics Department of Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1986. With a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education, he completed his master's degree in free and applied ceramics at the Stuttgart State Academy of Fine Arts; in 1990, he conducted research and applications on glass in Venice and Murano. In 1992, he began his academic career as a research assistant in the Ceramics and Glass Department of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, and completed his proficiency in art in 1998. He became an associate professor in 2003 and a professor in 2008. Yoleri, who serves as a faculty member and head of the Ceramics and Glass Design Department at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, has five solo exhibitions and numerous books and publications in his field. He has participated in national and international exhibitions and contributed to the organization of symposiums, workshops, and congresses.
