Biography
Born in Bolu (1949), she graduated from the Painting Department of the Girls' Technical Higher Teacher Training School in 1971. Between 1971 and 1977, she worked as a painting teacher in Karabük. In 1980, she joined the Girls' Technical Higher Teacher Training School as an assistant. She completed her master's degree in the Handicrafts Department of the Gazi University Vocational Education Faculty in 1984. She received her proficiency in art in 1987. She worked as a lecturer at the same university until 1988, after which she left this position. In 1988, she established her own studio. She held her first solo exhibition in Ankara (İş Sanat Gallery) in 1983. She participated in group exhibitions. Her works, which are concentrated on watercolor, are developing as products of an understanding based on impressions of nature. Landscape is her main area of interest.
