Biography
She was born in Antalya in 1954. She attended Maçka Primary School in Istanbul. Afterwards, while attending Atatürk Girls' High School, she went to America on an AFS scholarship in her final year. Upon her return to Istanbul, she studied at the Secretarial School affiliated with the Istanbul University Academy of Commercial Sciences. In 1980, she began working with charcoal and watercolor, then spent a year studying under the supervision of Prof. Süheyl Ünver, three years at the Topkapı Palace Embroidery Workshop, and one year at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (now Mimar Sinan University) in the Traditional Turkish Decorative Arts Department. In 1986, she created original prints at the Çamlıca Art House. In 1991, she began writing novels, researching and writing a novel about the story of her maternal grandfather, Kurt Seyt. Besides this, she has written many popular books in the field of popular literature. Her interviews and articles have been published in various newspapers. She hosted the live broadcast program "Ondan Sonra" on TRT 2 television. He continues to work independently as a writer and artist.
