Biography
Aylin Bayram Badancı, born in Bayındır, İzmir in 1972, is a painter and visual arts teacher. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Ödemiş. She studied at the Painting Department of the Buca Faculty of Education at Dokuz Eylül University, in the Turan Enginoğlu Workshop, and entered the department with the third highest score. After graduation, she worked in various cities under the Ministry of National Education; she continues her professional life as a visual arts teacher in Ödemiş, İzmir. She continues her work in art groups within the International Artists Union, the International İzArtist Association, and the Ödemiş Municipality. Utilizing oil paint, acrylic, and collage techniques, the artist addresses abstract and imaginative forms within a geometric structure in her works on canvas; she uses surface textures as one of the prominent elements of her expression. She has carried out various art projects and participated in workshops in the cities where she has worked.
