Biography
Handan DAYI, born in İzmir in 1968, is a photographer and academic. She graduated from the Photography Department of Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1994, completed her master's degree at Dokuz Eylül University in 2006, and her Proficiency in Art degree at Mimar Sinan University in 2013. After working in advertising and promotional photography in Istanbul, Dayı began working as a lecturer in the Photography Department of Akdeniz University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2002. She has been a faculty member in the same department since 2018. Her artistic work focuses particularly on art photography, experimental photography, fashion photography, and documentary photography. She has participated in national and international exhibitions, symposiums, and workshops; and has held three solo exhibitions.
