Biography
She is an artist working in the field of "upcycling art." Using waste materials (fabric, cardboard, packaging, etc.), the painter employs a mixed technique to give volume and meaning to the images in her paintings. Beginning her professional life as a lawyer, she always wanted to paint. A few years ago, she took a creative arts course. While trying to express herself, the painter realized that she had more opportunities and desires to paint, not only for herself and the individual, but for the whole world. Thus, her first series of upcycling art works, called Ocean, emerged. In creating them, the artist used recycled materials; boxes, cellophane, fabric, etc. In this series of paintings, the artist aims to convey the beauty of water, most importantly, through abstraction and texture, despite the inclusion of waste in the composition. Due to the application of a mixed combinatorial technique, the artist's paintings are volumetric and unique. Irina hopes that the captivating beauty of water combined with the incongruous waste in this series of paintings will make people think about the future of our common home and the need to keep the planet clean.
